Anekdootteja ja muuta

• Vuonna 2006 Yhdysvaltain Microsoft oli nimittämässä Sakaria MVP:ksi ja liitti hänet jo MVP-sähköpostilistallekin. Viime hetkellä kävi kuitenkin ilmi, että paperipostiosoite on Suomessa ja asia kaatui siihen.
• Sakari on tehnyt Shareware-pohjaisen käyttäjähallintasovelluksen, jonka aikanaan ostivat mm. Kanadan ratsupoliisi, Hughes Aircraft ja Exxon (Amerikan Esso).
• Sakari on ollut joitain vuosia Tietokone-lehden vakituinen avustaja.
• Sakari on kirjoittanut pari artikkelia amerikkalaiseen Windows IT Pro Magazineen ja toiminut pari vuotta jäsenenä kyseisen lehden Editorial Review Boardissa.
• Sakari on tehnyt LayMAP-nimisen IOS-sovelluksen App Storeen.
• Sakari on voittanut SM-hopeaa rokin SM-kisoissa (kitara) ja partiotaitojen SM-kisoissa.
• Sakari on valokuvannut eri lehdille mm. korisliigan pudotuspelejä ja finaaleita sekä koripallon MM-kisoja Espanjassa sekä EM-kisoja Helsingissä.

Kirja Inside Active Directory

Sakari on tehnyt 85 % 1200-sivuisesta kirjasta Inside Active Directory. Tuo kirja oli luultavasti historian ensimmäinen Suomesta Amerikan markkinoille tehty IT-kirja.

Inside Active Directory oli alansa parhaiten myyvä kirja Amazonissa ja parhaimmillaan se oli Amazonin 2000 eniten myyvän kirjan joukossa. Myyntimäärä yhteensä on ehkä 30.000 kappaletta, mistä 60 % Yhdysvalloissa ja loput muualla maailmassa.
